Autumnal Art: Reap the Harvest

After a week spent in postcard-pretty Milford, PA just ahead of peak leaf-peeping season, I’m doubling down on this whole “Fall is the best” thing. My fella + I were there to celebrate the wedding of our talented, tenacious and utterly-delightful colleague Carrie Strine, who finally tied the knot with her equally talented partner in crime, Tim Lahan.

It was a small affair, full of wonderful people and whoa, it was so freaking autumnal up there! Steve and I walked around quoting Colin Nissan, author of  our favorite text  that celebrates the season, kicking up leaves as we went. And yes, we did stop for apples and decorative gourds on the gorgeous drive home. (Not one single pumpkin spice anything all weekend long though, thank goodness.)

Today I’m humming the song of the season  and wearing the sweater that goes with it. I spent a few hours this chilly morning picking out some of our favorite fall-hued editions, including the Mickey Smith  above (and below ) that were just added to the site hours ago. Also freshly back in stock:  Lisa Congdon ’s Birch Forest , which was recently featured in HGTV Magazine and is just back in stock now too.

So make yourself a nice hot cocoa and snuggle up to some art that’ll keep you surrounded with autumn’s glorious colors all year round.
